Far Away, and Quiet
Some landscapes do not ask us to arrive. Looking from a distance for a while is enough.

Things in the distance can remain complete precisely because we cannot touch them.
After taking this photograph, I stood there for a long time. Nothing worth recording happened—only wind and slowly changing light. Looking back, what I remember most clearly is that stretch of time in which nothing happened at all.
